Old shade trees and new HOAs, ten minutes apart.
Glendale has two kinds of tree work. In the older neighborhoods around downtown, Catlin Court, Manistee and Sahuaro Ranch, the trees are big: ash, mulberry, pecan, olive and pine planted decades ago that now hang over roofs, driveways and the alley power lines. Up north in Arrowhead Ranch, Union Hills and the communities near the 101, the trees are younger and faster, mostly palo verde, mesquite, sissoo and palms, and the HOA notices when they are overgrown.
Bros Tree Care covers both from North Phoenix. Older trees get deadwood taken out, clearance from the house and lines, and weight reduced on long limbs. Younger trees get thinned so they survive their first few monsoon seasons standing up. And every job ends with the yard raked and the debris gone.
Trees we see in Glendale
Ash, mulberry, pecan, olive and Aleppo pine on the older lots, palo verde, mesquite and sissoo in the newer HOA neighborhoods, citrus in the mid-century blocks, and fan palms and queen palms throughout.
Storms, HOAs and local notes
Many of Glendale's older streets are flood irrigated, which grows trees fast and big. Those trees carry a lot of weight and need a real thinning every couple of years, not a shearing. In Arrowhead Ranch and the other HOA communities, keep an eye on sissoos: they are pretty and quick but their roots and their brittle wood make them a common removal once they get large.

How it works
- Call or text a photo. A picture from your phone is often enough for a ballpark right away.
- Jason looks and gives you a number. Usually the same day. Firm price, no fine print.
- The crew does the work and cleans up. Most jobs are done within a day or two of the estimate. Branches chipped, wood hauled, rock put back.
