A planned community with fast-growing trees and a watchful HOA.
Anthem was built in a hurry in the early 2000s and landscaped with the trees that grow fastest in the desert: palo verde, mesquite, sissoo, acacia and fan palms. Twenty-some years later those trees are full size, some of them are too big for the lot, and the HOA has opinions about all of them. Add the wind that comes down off Daisy Mountain and the New River wash during monsoon season and you have the most common Anthem call: a tree that split, leaned or went over because it was never thinned.
Bros Tree Care comes up the I-17 from North Phoenix and handles Anthem Parkside, Anthem Country Club and the communities around them. Yearly thinning to keep the canopy open and the shape HOA-clean. Removals for the sissoos and acacias that have outgrown their corner. Palm cleanups, stump grinding, and quick storm response when a tree did not make it.
Trees we see in Anthem
Palo verde, Chilean mesquite, sissoo, sweet acacia, desert willow and museum palo verde in the HOA yards, with Mexican fan palms along streets and around pools. Some pines and eucalyptus in the Country Club.
Storms, HOAs and local notes
Anthem's HOA reviews front yard trees, and most complaints come from trees that have been sheared into balls or left to grow into the sidewalk. We thin and shape to a natural form that passes. Sissoos are a particular Anthem problem: pretty when young, then brittle and root-invasive. If yours is lifting the driveway, a removal with stump grinding is usually the right call, and we put the rock back so the yard looks finished.

How it works
- Call or text a photo. A picture from your phone is often enough for a ballpark right away.
- Jason looks and gives you a number. Usually the same day. Firm price, no fine print.
- The crew does the work and cleans up. Most jobs are done within a day or two of the estimate. Branches chipped, wood hauled, rock put back.
